TLC Pediatrics is a vaccinating practice. As pediatric providers at TLC Pediatrics our number one focus is the well being and health of our children and youth. We understand that parents/guardians may have questions regarding vaccines. We firmly believe the following based on years of scientific evidence:

  • Vaccines keep our patients healthy throughout their lives and reduce transmission of illness within our community.
  • Vaccines are safe and effective.
  • We recommend the CDC and AAP supported vaccine schedule. This schedule has been the most studied and is the best way to ensure good immunity.
  • Vaccine refusal or alternative vaccine schedules leave children at risk of serious illness and/or death.

Our practice does not accept new patients who are unimmunized or, in the case of newborns, whose parents do not plan to immunize them. This policy also applies to new siblings of current patients.
