It’s time to get vaccinated for the seasonal flu!

According to the Centers for Disease Control, most flu vaccines protect against four different flu viruses: an influenza A (H1N1) virus, an influenza A (H3N2) virus, and two influenza B viruses for at least six months.

Our 2020 flu clinics will be drive-through, outdoor clinics, so we ask that you come to the north side of either office and look for the tent. This year we have two types of vaccines available: flu shots and nasal flu mist. Flu shots are recommended for ages six months and older; FluMist, which is a nasal mist, is recommended for those ages 2 – 49.

Here’s how to get yours:

  1. Call for an appointment – this is REQUIRED to receive a flu vaccine.
  2. Patients must be up to date on their well-child check.
  3. All patients will need to bring a completed pre-vaccine questionnaire. Simply go to patient forms, print it out, and complete it at home. Printed forms are also available in both offices.
  4. Everyone four years and older must wear a mask.

We can provide flu vaccines for the entire family at the same time depending on insurance. If you have questions on whether your insurance can be billed, call us for details. Parental flu vaccines can also be self-pay.
